Biedermeier bookcase | The skillful interior veneer of high quality bird’s eye maple gives the bookcase a lively and charming appearance. Filling revolving doors, each with three glass fillings at the top and a veneered filling at the bottom, are originally recessed with mortise-and-tenon hinges. The unagitated straight pilasters are solid, as is the lovingly milled profile cornice in the upper bottom. The lockable doors (including the muntins) are veneered in a log from top to bottom, and the veneer leaves mirrored on, giving the cabinet its distinctive pattern. Solid, tapered cut and tapped feet. Satin lacquer finish.
